A useful system begins with the building, the people using it and the responsibilities behind it—not with a list of products. Those conditions shape the cabling, equipment locations, interfaces, access and support model.
Modal AV works through those decisions with clients, architects, designers, contractors and internal teams. We explain the trade-offs, coordinate the technical detail and keep the finished system aligned with the original brief.

Built on Practical Experience
Modal AV Ltd was incorporated on 5 April 2019. Billy Hilton and Costa Grigoras were appointed as directors when the company was formed and lead it today.

The People Behind Modal AV
Costa Grigoras
Co-founder and Director
Costa designs Modal AV’s systems, works alongside the engineers throughout installation and remains involved when a client calls years later. He also specifies and calibrates every home cinema, carrying each room from technical planning through to its final performance. Costa moved from electrical installation into smart-home technology in 2007. That practical background still shapes his approach: every system must work as well in the finished space as it does on paper.
Billy Hilton
Co-founder and Director
Billy's background includes audio, event production and live broadcast. At Modal AV, he applies that experience to audio visual systems, integrated control and the way a finished space should perform for the people using it.
